The SimplyMSK Project

Simply MSK LTD are a musculoskeletal education training provider for healthcare professionals. Established and registered as a limited company in 2023 Simply MSK LTD was the brainchild of Yorkshire-born entrepreneur and physiotherapist Carl Clifford who had a vision for developing a musculoskeletal education platform that encompassed the entire multidisciplinary team. This vision was soon shared by now fellow directors Damian Buck, Dr Alastair Jones, Dr Michael Cooke and Matthew Walmsley who all shared the same passion, enthusiasm and energy for teaching musculoskeletal medicine to clinicians.

Having worked together in an acute MSK clinic in Bradford, England it was accepted that a multidisciplinary approach to managing MSK pathology yielded the best outcomes for patients. However, achieving this on a consistent basis presented a challenge as many healthcare professionals lacked the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage conditions appropriately in line with best evidence-based practice. Furthermore, many healthcare professionals did not have a full appreciation or understanding of the roles of the multidisciplinary team within a musculoskeletal setting. It was by identifying these problems that the vision to create an opportunity for healthcare professionals to work collaboratively in MSK medicine to ensure the best results for patients was realised, and so in 2023 Simply MSK LTD was born.

We know that MSK is a challenging area with new evidence and developing treatment options constantly changing the landscape. We therefore created this education platform to support healthcare professionals in their journey to enhance and simplify their knowledge and skills to then apply immediately in clinical practice.
