Meet The Team
Meet The Team Behind Simply MSK
A multidisciplinary team helping MSK clinicians think more clearly, reason more confidently and move beyond siloed learning.
Simply MSK brings together clinicians, educators and specialists from different areas of MSK practice.
Our shared goal is simple:
To help clinicians connect the dots and make better clinical decisions.
Because real patients do not fit neatly into one box.
They need clinicians who can consider the full picture — assessment, diagnosis, imaging, rehabilitation, risk, context and patient goals.
That is what our team is here to support.

Why Our Team Exists
MSK practice is rarely simple.
Patients do not arrive with one neat problem, one clear answer or one isolated scan finding.
They arrive with symptoms, worries, goals, expectations, clinical uncertainty and a story that needs to be understood properly.
That is why Simply MSK exists.
Our team brings together different professional perspectives to help clinicians see the bigger picture, not just isolated anatomy, tests, imaging or rehab protocols.
We believe better MSK decisions come from connecting information, not collecting more of it.

Clinicians do not just need more content.
They need:
Structure
A way to organise clinical information without feeling overwhelmed.
Process
A repeatable way to move from patient presentation to clearer decision-making.
Confidence
The ability to explain, justify and act on their reasoning in real clinical practice.
At Simply MSK, our team exists to help clinicians move beyond siloed learning and develop a more connected way of thinking.
Because real-world MSK practice needs clinicians who can bring the whole clinical picture together.
Meet The Directors
Simply MSK is led by a team of clinicians who share a common goal: to make high-quality MSK education more practical, more collaborative and more clinically useful.
Each perspective. One shared approach.

Sports & Exercise Medicine Physician (CEO)
working across NHS and private practice, with extensive experience in multidisciplinary MSK care.
Supports clinicians in understanding imaging, medical risk, and escalation so decisions are integrated, not isolated.

Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (CGO)
working across NHS and private practice, with a specialist interest in lower limb injury, particularly the knee and clinical decision-making.
Helps clinicians bridge the gap between assessment and action, turning information into clear, confident decisions in everyday practice.

Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (CMO)
with experience in professional sport, NHS, and private practice, with a specialist interest in upper limb pathology.
Helps clinicians structure complex cases into confident, justified decisions—particularly in shoulder and upper limb presentations.

Sports & Exercise Medicine Physician (CLO)
working across NHS, elite sport, and education.
Helps clinicians understand when medical input or escalation is truly required so decisions are proportionate, not reactive.

Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (CFO)
with extensive experience in NHS and private clinical settings, specialising in lower limb rehabilitation.
Focuses on translating complex clinical presentations into clear, practical rehabilitation decisions that make sense in real-world practice.
Our Wider Faculty
Simply MSK is not built around one voice, one profession or one way of seeing a clinical problem.
That is the whole point.
MSK practice is multidisciplinary by nature, so our education should be too.
Alongside our director team, Simply MSK collaborates with experienced clinicians, educators and specialists across different areas of MSK practice. This helps us create learning that reflects the reality of clinical decision-making, where assessment, diagnosis, imaging, rehabilitation, risk, communication and patient context all need to be considered together.
What Makes Our Team Different?
There are lots of MSK education providers.
There are lots of courses.
There are lots of clinicians sharing information online.
But Simply MSK was not created to be “just another education platform”.
We exist because we believe MSK education needs to feel more connected, more clinically useful and more reflective of real practice.
Our team is different because we do not just teach isolated topics.
We help clinicians understand how those topics fit together.
1. We Teach Beyond Silos
Traditional MSK education can often feel separated into boxes.
One course teaches anatomy
Another teaches imaging.
Another teaches rehab.
Another teaches pain.
Another teaches psychology
All of those things matter.

But in clinic, clinicians are not asked to manage one isolated piece of information.
They are asked to make sense of the whole patient.
That is why our team brings together different professional perspectives, so clinicians can learn to see the bigger picture rather than stay trapped in one narrow lane.
We believe better reasoning happens when clinicians understand how different professionals think, what they notice and how their perspective changes the decision.
2. We Focus on Clinical Reasoning, Not Just Content
Information is everywhere.
The harder part is knowing what to do with it.
At Simply MSK, we are not interested in simply giving clinicians more facts to remember.
We want to help clinicians organise information, weigh up what matters and make clearer decisions in practice.
That means helping clinicians ask better questions:
What is driving this presentation?
What information matters most?
What could I be missing?
When should I reassure?
When should I escalate?
When does imaging help?
When could it confuse the picture?
What does this patient actually need next?
This is where our education is different.
We do not just teach clinicians what to know.
We teach clinicians how to think.

3. We Are Multidisciplinary By Design
Simply MSK is built around the belief that no single profession owns MSK reasoning.
Physiotherapists, doctors, sports therapists, radiologists, strength and conditioning coaches, rehabilitation clinicians and educators all bring valuable perspectives.
When those perspectives are kept separate, clinicians can miss important parts of the picture.
When they are connected, clinical reasoning becomes stronger.
Our team structure reflects the way MSK practice should work:
Collaborative.
Contextual.
Patient-centred.
Clinically reasoned.
Not siloed.
This is why our wider educational approach is built around shared reasoning domains and a repeatable decision-making process, rather than isolated teaching blocks.

4. We Make Complex Ideas Feel Practical
MSK practice can be complicated.
But education does not need to make clinicians feel more overwhelmed.
Our role is to take complex clinical ideas and make them easier to understand, easier to apply and easier to use in real patient scenarios.
MSK practice can be complicated.
But education does not need to make clinicians feel more overwhelmed.
Our role is to take complex clinical ideas and make them easier to understand, easier to apply and easier to use in real patient scenarios.
We aim to make clinicians feel:
Clearer in their thinking.
More confident in uncertainty.
More aware of risk.
More able to justify decisions.
More prepared for real clinical practice.
We want our learners to leave our courses thinking:
“I can actually use this tomorrow.”

5. We Care About the Clinician Behind the Learning
We know clinicians often carry a lot of pressure.
The pressure to get it right.
The pressure to not miss something.
The pressure to manage uncertainty.
The pressure to sound confident, even when things are not clear.
Simply MSK is not here to make clinicians feel small.
We are here to support them, challenge them and help them grow.
Our team understands that better clinicians are not created by memorising more information.
They are developed through guidance, reflection, structure, support and exposure to different ways of thinking.
That is what makes our team different.
We are not just here to teach MSK.
We are here to help clinicians become better clinical reasoners.
